TOPIC - RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION



"Sustainable Consumption and Production is about promoting resource and energy efficiency , Sustainable Infrastructure , and Providing access services and Decent jobs. Its implementation can help us to achieve overall developement plans and can reduce social and envoirmental costs." This goal will involve us in  recycling and reusing items,as well as rethinking how we make, buy and use things.
 

★FACTS AND FIGURES-

  1. Each Year , An Estimated one-third of all food produced - equivalent  to 1.3Billion Tones Worth around 1Trillion ends in bins of Wholesalers and Retailers.
  2. Less than 3% of the world's water is Fresh(Drinkable) of which 2.5% is frozen in Antartic , Artic and Glaciers.
  3. 1.3Billion of food is wasted worldwide every year and almost 1Billion people go undernourished and another 1Billion go Hungry.

★TARGETS-

  1. By 2030, We hve to achieve the Sustainable Management and Efficient use of natural resources.
  2. By 2030, Sustanitaility reduce waste generation through Prevention ,Reduction , Recycling , Reuse.
  3. We hve to encourage big companies especially large and transnational companies to  adopt sustainable practices.
